Commercial terms on this page apply only when paid services open and may be updated before then.
This Privacy Policy explains how ContextWorks Digital Systems Private Limited ("ContextWorks", "we", "us"), which operates the AskBharatNow product, handles personal information, including health information. It applies to this website and to AskBharatNow Healthcare services delivered through WhatsApp.
Healthcare services are not yet publicly open and this website does not take payments. This policy describes how information is handled when those services are used, and it applies to any information you send us in the meantime.
1. Information we may process
- Contact details: your name (if provided), your WhatsApp number and any email address you share with us.
- Health and billing information: medical documents you submit, such as blood reports, hospital discharge summaries, medical bills and supporting insurance documents, the information they contain (including itemized charges, insurer and policy details), and any messages you send us about them.
- Service records: the service you request, its status, the reviewed guidance or expense summary prepared for you, and your communications with us.
- Payment information: transaction identifiers, amounts and payment status received from our payment provider. Payment instrument details are entered on the payment provider's checkout and are processed by that provider.
- Website information: this website is a static information site. It does not have accounts or forms and does not currently use advertising trackers or analytics. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs. If we add analytics later, we will update this policy.
2. How information reaches us
Healthcare services are designed to be used through WhatsApp. When you message us or upload a document in WhatsApp, we receive the content you send. Messages pass through the WhatsApp platform, which is operated by a third party and has its own terms and privacy practices. We ask you to share only the documents needed for the service you choose.
3. Why we process information
- To provide the review services you request and to communicate with you about them.
- To process payments and handle refunds or cancellations.
- To organize eligible records in your Patient Vault where that feature is available.
- To respond to your questions, requests and complaints.
- To keep our service safe, keep records of the review, and meet legal obligations.
4. AI-assisted processing
We use AI-assisted systems to extract and organize information from the documents you submit so that a clinician can review it efficiently. AI output is prepared for human review. It does not independently diagnose conditions or issue prescriptions, and the guidance sent to you is the version reviewed by a clinician.
5. Clinician review
Qualified medical professionals engaged for the service can see the information needed to review your case, including the document you submitted and the structured information prepared from it. Records of the review, including changes a reviewer makes to prepared content, may be retained for quality and accountability. For medical bills, appropriately qualified billing or insurance-domain reviewers can see the bill, any supporting insurance documents you submit and the structured information prepared from them, for the purpose of the review.
6. Patient Vault
The Patient Vault is planned and is not yet available. When it becomes available, information from your reports and the reviewed guidance may be added to your Patient Vault where supported, so that your records are organized over time. Our descriptions on this website state what is available and what is not.
7. Service providers
We use third-party providers to run the service. Depending on the service, these include providers of:
- messaging (the WhatsApp Business Platform),
- payment processing (Razorpay),
- cloud hosting and data storage,
- AI-assisted document processing,
- email delivery.
We share information with them only as needed to provide their function. We do not sell your personal information.
8. Storage, retention and deletion
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this policy, for the time your Patient Vault remains active, and for any period required by law or to resolve disputes. You can ask us to delete your information (see section 10). Some records may need to be kept where the law requires it or where we need them to handle a payment or a dispute.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorized access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not claim any security certification on this website.
10. Consent, your rights and privacy requests
We process your health information based on the consent you give when you submit it to us. You may withdraw consent, and, subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete your information, or raise a concern about how it is handled. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer provide a service that depends on that information.
To make a request, email support@askbharatnow.com and tell us the WhatsApp number associated with your use of the service. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
11. Children
Our services are intended for adults. If you submit documents on behalf of another person, including a child or a dependent, you confirm that you are authorized to do so.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
